How to Register

On this page, enter your name and email address to register. An email will be sent to you, with a temporary password.

 

 

Click on the link you receive, enter your name and temporary password and you will be logged in.

Under ‘My profile’ you can now change your password.

 

 

How to contribute

Click on the ‘Upload’ button on the left of the homepage.

 

 

If you have not registered or you are not logged in, this will prompt you to register or login.

Once you’ve logged in, click on 'Upload'.

 

 

You have the option of uploading images, ephemera, books, documents, audio or video.

Select the item type you wish to add and enter the information required – a Title for the item and Copyright information. 
To attach an image click ‘choose files’.

 

 

Click ‘Save progress’ if you want to add more information or files later.

Once everything has been added, select the ‘Finished! Submit’ button.

 

 

How to add information or stories to content

You can add a Recollection or Tag an item with additional information.

You will need to be logged in to do this and you can create an account here

 

 

 

How to add a Recollection

Do you remember attending this event? Or something you were told about this photo?

To add a Recollection click ‘add’ on the left hand side of the record.

 

 

Then add your story, as shown:

 

 

Then click ‘Add my story’.

 

 

How to add a Tag to an image

You can add details such as people’s names or places using this option.

To add a Tag , click on the ‘Add’ button on the top left-hand side of the record. This allows you to place the tag on the image.

 

 

Then add the information you are submitting and click ‘Save’
