DescriptionThis portrait was presented to Brian Hoult at the event to celebrate his contribution to the arts in Waimakariri. Brain was chair of the Waimakariri Community Arts Council for 19 years and was part of this group for 43 years. He was also instrumental in the formation of the Waimakariri Art Collection Trust.
Jeff Bell is a caricaturist and cartoonist who draws political cartoons for Stuff. His first solo exhibition was held in the Chamber Gallery in 2016. It was entitled "Stretching the truth : an artist's expression through caricature" and ran from 19 June to 21 July, 2016.
