Description"The engines on the Oxford and Eyreton branch lines were nicknamed respectively The Pot and the Ohoka Punt. While 'The Pot' seems to have been a shortened version of 'coffeepot' after the bulbous shape of its funnel, the 'Ohoka Punt'alluded to a boat being punted along as it negotiated an embankment across the low-lying Ohoka farmland which was often under water."
